Plan A Visit

We offer preaching that is rooted in the Bible and relevant to your daily life. We offer uplifting music, friendly child-care, and a loving church family. Here are just a few things that are most often asked by our church guests.

What time should I get there?

Worship service starts at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday, but please feel free to come early. If you are interested, Sunday School for all ages starts at 10:00 a.m. You are welcome to join us as we open Scripture and learn from His word.

How long are the services?

Most services last about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Where should I park?

We have a parking lot adjacent to the church building and there is ample on-street parking available on 104 Street.

How should I dress?

There is no dress code at Fort Saskatchewan Church of the Nazarene. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress. However, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit. What you can be certain of is that you are welcome to join us in the attire which feels comfortable for you.

I have young kids, what should I do?

Bring them! We love families. There is a nursery downstairs. Following the main singing part of worship, all infants, toddlers and Kindergarten-aged children can attend the nursery for childcare for the remainder of service. Our nursery care adheres to Nazarene Safe guidelines.

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up or ask you to give in the offering. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while. And that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the atmosphere and see if our church might not be your future church home.

Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. We don’t invite you to our church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to the Lord and to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit; truth from God’s Word; and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

What kind of music should I expect to find?

We love great music that honors and glorifies God. Our songs include both traditional hymns and choruses as well as contemporary music that honour God in a worshipful way.
