Vacation Bible School | August 20-24, 2018

At Shipwrecked, kids discover that Jesus rescues them! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long.

Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Sail Away Sendoff that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Shipwrecked is for kids going into Kindergarten to those leaving Grade 6 and will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day.

What is VBS?

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a ministry outreach churches provide to educate children about God. The purpose is to incorporate themed activities that entertain kids with the chance to learn about God.

VBS lasts five weekdays in the summer. Children attend around 3-4 hours each day. Church membership is not required to participate and it’s a laid back atmosphere.

Vacation Bible School teachers are church members volunteering their time. Many of the church members helping out with VBS are parents too.
