Camp FortNaz! | August 22, 2019

Welcome to Camp FortNaz! This camp is sure to be a morning packed with adventures as we explore crafts, games, and stories themed after camping in God’s creation. At Camp FortNaz, kids will explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life. There is absolutely no cost for your child to attend, but we will accept a free-will offering.

It’s our prayer that Camp FortNaz will allow everyone involved to discover a wildly refreshing understanding of how God is good—touching lives, changing hearts, and drawing kids closer to our God who loves them.

Camp FortNaz is a miniature VBS for kids entering Kindergarten to those leaving Grade 6 and will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m on Thursday, August 22nd. There will be a free BBQ lunch for the whole family following the program!

What is VBS?

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a ministry outreach churches provide to educate children about God. The purpose is to incorporate themed activities that entertain kids with the chance to learn about God.

VBS typically lasts five weekdays in the summer (2019: one mini-VBS morning). Children attend around 2-3 hours each day. Church membership is not required to participate and it’s a laid back atmosphere.

Vacation Bible School teachers are church members volunteering their time. Many of the church members helping out with VBS are parents too.
